Small mono volumes of the 1990s.

Mono volumes are automobiles where the engine compartment, the passenger compartment and the luggage compärtment are all in the same space. This unlike a standard three volume vehicle, like a sedan.
In this article I will introduce several small mono volumes from the 1990s.

Jiangnan JNJ7050A.

The Jiangnan JNJ7050A. Made by the State Operated Jiangnan Machinery Works, Xiangtan city, Hunan province.
LxWxH are 2730mm x 1390mm x 1380mm. Wheelbase 1850mm. Curb weight is only 250kg(?). Engine 190F 497cc one-cylinder, delivering 10kW.
I suppose not many were made. Jiangnan started Suzuki Alto production in 1991.

Ganzhong 6300.

The Ganzhong 6300 was a polyester bodied  car of 3 meter long.
LxWxH are 3000mm x 1400mm x 1650mm. Wheelbase 2100mm. Curb weight 910kg. Engine 276 or 462, 35kW two- or four-cylinder.
The  car was made by the Jiangxi Ganzhong Automobiles Co. Ltd.

Tielong SY622F.

The Tielong SY622F was made by the Tieling Hongda Special Auto Works in Kaiyan City, Liaoning Province. It was shown in 1994.

Sanfeng TJ6360, made by the Tianjin Bus Works .

The Tianjin Sanfeng Minibus Works made the Sanfeng TJ6360 in 1995 in small quantities. From 1965 the Tianjin Bus Works produced the Tianjin TJ620 minibus. Sanfeng minibuses were made during the 1980s-1990s. In 1993 the factory changed its name into Tianjin Sanfeng Minibus Works. In 2002 it merged and continued as Tianjin Meiya, in 2013 it was Hawtai Motor who bought the factory.

LxWxH of the Sanfeng (Three Peaks) TJ360 were 3580mm x 1570mm x 1519mm. Platform and 843cc three-cylinder engine were from the Xiali.

Xiao Fuxing C987 DWM

The C987 DWM Xiao Fuxing designed by the Dragonfly Joint Venture Company was a prototype unveiled at the Wuxian Trade Exhibition in 1994.
LxWxH are 3080mm x 1480mm x 1480 mm. The 730cc engine was in the rear.
The designer was mr. Tak Lee (Li) from Tint Hong Kong.  The car was the predecessor of  the later developed Beifan QCJ7085 Xiao Fuxing.

You have already seen the Wugong WGG6360 below the header at the top of this article. The car was made by the Wuhan Wugong Auto Refit Works, also named Hubei Shenjian Auto Industry Corporation. Wugong made a sedan named WGG6430 too.

LxWxH 3580mm x 1540mm x 1410mm, wheelbase 2300mm, curb weight 835kg, engine DA462Q, 797cc four-cylinder Suzuki license.

The Shenwei SYW1011 was made by the Shenyang Jinnuo Machinery Works, this factory was named before Shenyang Mini-Auto Works.

LxWxH are 3200mm x 1520mm x 1650 mm, wheelbase 1760mm. Engine Liuzhou 276Q, 644cc two-cylinder, 21 kW. Curb weight 840kg.

Mr. Ye Wengui in Wenzhou city, Zhejiang province started to design small electric cars in 1989. They were called Yefeng.

The first model was a mono volume, the second a sedan. Ye built in total 12 cars of which two mono volumes.

Ye Wengui´s Yefeng no. 1.

The Hualiu BHL6350 was made by the Beijing Hualian Automobile Co.
It was a 3.5=mtre long car equipped with a 993cc 3-cylinder DA462-1A (Xiali) engine, delivering 27kW. Sizesw: LxWxH 3500mm x 1640mm x 1620mm, wheelbase 2105mm.

Another Beijing company made a look-a-like, a bit shorter. It was the Changsheng BCS6330. The company was called Beijing Changping Shahe Automobile Refit Works.
