Two three-wheelers, made in 1958, both by the Chongqing Municipality Public Transport Company.


The Honghai’er was equipped with a 563cc two-cylinder 12hp engine, bore x stroke 70x73mm, compression ration 5.5:1. Maximum speed 66 km/h, fuel consumption 7L/ 100km.

The introduction date was October 1958. Sizes: LxWxH 3470 x 1150 x 1560mm, wheelbase 1450mm. Four seats, weight 250kg. Tyre size 4.50-12.
The second three-wheel vehicle is the Type 58 of the same Company.

Type 58 seems to be a smaller vehicle, only two-seats. This was an electrical driven convertible.

Type 58 was another experiment to mobilise China with electric vehicles.
